We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Chaz 51 Steakhouse in Venice, featuring local artists creating art live!

Beginning February 1st, two artists will be creating art live on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 5-8:30pm.

Chaz 51 Steakhouse and Creative Liberties Artist Studios Launch Creative Partnership

The partnership pairs fine cuisine with fine art and demonstrations. The group seeks artists to participate.

(January 11, 2024) Longtime friends Chef Charles Amherst of Chaz 51 Steakhouse in Venice and Barbara Gerdeman, co-founder of Creative Liberties Artist Studios in Sarasota, have joined forces to create a series of interactive “live art dinner showcases.” The first of these events is set to take place in February, promising “an unforgettable experience for patrons seeking a blend of gastronomic delights and artistic inspiration,” says Amherst. These events will feature live painting, allowing attendees to witness the creation of captivating works of art in real-time. Taste of Art live art making events are a complementary part of the dining experience at Chaz 51 Steackhouse three days a week. Reservations are suggested.
